March is the time of the year designated to celebrate Women’s History Month. Women have made so many distinguished contributions. In fact, there is perpetual proof of the impact they have made and continue to make in the world. Women such as Michelle Obama, the first African American First Lady of the USA, Dr. Antonia Novello, the first female as well as the first Hispanic who was sworn in as a U.S. Surgeon General, and Sarah Caldwell, the first woman to conduct at New York’s Metropolitan Opera House, are just a few of the countless women who have impacted humanity.

Perhaps you can identify with some of these phenomenal women. Maybe you know someone who would chime in perfectly with them and their lists of accomplishments. Whatever the case, we can all give thanks for the many ways that God has chosen to elevate women and express a special part of His glory through them.

I am sure that if someone took an account of your life they would pen some history about where and when you’ve made a difference. Maybe you’ve helped a child, gave a smile, added encouragement to someone’s life, made a difference in the educational system, helped someone work through a difficult situation, interceded on behalf of others for a resurgence of hope. For the many contributions you’ve made and the many victories you’ve won; whether spiritually, domestically, socially, corporately and all those in between; you deserve notable mention.

For being carriers of life, givers of love, characters of strength and wisdom;

We Honor You.

Prayer

Dear Lord,

May you continually bless women all over the world. May we always put You first, seeking Your face for guidance to handle the endeavors of the day. Bless us to continue to make a difference in the world.

In The Name of Jesus,

Amen
