An Amazing Legacy

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ left an amazing legacy.  Thousands of years have passed since He physically walked on earth and yet the mere mention of His name still speaks volumes.  The Bible declares that Jesus went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him (Acts 10:38).  So many lives were impacted by Him.

He made a tremendous change in Joseph and Mary’s life before they ever laid eyes on Him.  I can’t even think of the words to describe what an honorable and humbling spiritual experience that must have been to be chosen to be the earthly parents of Jesus Christ.

As Jesus walked the earth with power, authority, compassion, and love the lives of multitudes were changed!  And eternally speaking, we can’t even go to heaven without accepting Him as our Lord and Savior.

What an amazing legacy He left for us!  Can you imagine your life having a great impact on the people that you come in contact with?  Many people followed Jesus for the good that He did and many will watch the type of life that you live based on your declaration of being a Christian.

We must be consistent in letting the light of Christ shine through us, in doing so we are not only currently building a legacy but, leaving one for years to come.  Even after we have departed from this life we should want the things that we’ve done for God to be a blessing to all who hear of it.  I pray that we all will leave an amazing legacy leaving a positive affect on everyone that hears about what we stood for and how it was pleasing to God.

1. When people see you or hear your name will they automatically feel the love and compassion of God?

2. When you walk in a room will people be able to sense that you are a carrier of God’s peace (or whatever anointing He has graced you with) simply by being in your presence?

Minister Kimberly Smith is a woman who is dedicated to God and has been serving the Lord for more than 30 years. She is a woman who radiates the love and compassion of Christ and emanates God’s great hope for people. The Lord uses her mightily in areas of intercession, teaching, counseling, and encouragement. She is also a prolific prophetic writer, watchfully scribing the whispers of God. God graced her with gifts that have brought inner healing and hope to many. Minister Kimberly and her husband Minister Michael L. Smith created an anointed Spoken Word CD titled “The Pastor’s Journey.” She is the author and her husband is the musical arranger, composer, and reciter. She is a graduate of Kent State University with a M.Ed. in Rehabilitation Counseling, and of Wilberforce University with a BA in Rehabilitation Counseling.
