In this blog I want to share with you 3 steps to follow before sharing your good news that the Lord has given you. Testimonies are awesome and people can overcome their unfortunate situations through the blood of the lamb and by hearing the experiences of others and how they came out triumphantly (Rev 12:11).
However, there are times when wisdom needs to be used before you share priceless information that the Lord has given to you.
The Lord has so many ways in which He chooses to bless His children. He even has witty inventions to share with us that we never would have imagined without Him placing the desire in our hearts.
The Bible says that the Lord gives gifts that are not only good but, perfect as well. We are so blessed to have the Lord as our Heavenly Father. He loves us so much!
Oftentimes, when God blesses us by answering prayer requests that we put before Him, or He gives great revelation, or an awesome idea, we want to go and share the great news with others. I think that we get so filled with joy that we want others to share in our excitement.
The word of God admonishes us to rejoice with those who rejoice (Rom 12:15). It is such a good feeling to be able to share great news with a sister or brother who is genuinely happy for you. That type of person can actively join you in praising God because they are coming from a pure and genuine place with no malice or jealousy in their hearts.
However, we know that all people are not the same. You can share the same info with others and they will give you “the cold shoulder.” They may even question the validity of what the Lord shared with you.
I want to encourage you to use wisdom when sharing things that are of great value to you with others. Here are some steps:
- First, check with the Lord to determine if He wants you to share the information with anyone.
- Secondly, ask Him if this is the correct time to share.
- Thirdly, ask the Lord who you can share the information with.
Negative responses can put a damper in our spirit or even bring hurtful emotions into a joyful situation. The Bible tells us not to put trust in men but, to put our confidence in God. It also tells us, “Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you (Mt 7:6).”
In other words value what God gives you, it is of great worth. Don’t share your dreams, aspirations, or revelations with people who don’t support you, or try to devalue you. Surround yourself with people who have your best interest at heart, and those with “like precious faith (2Pet 1:1).”

The following is a prophetic word about having confidence in Christ.
“I am here for you no matter how things may look at various times in your life. It is important for you to know that I’ll never leave you nor forsake you just as I have said in My word.
There will be many temptations that will try to interrupt your flow of faith and belief in Me. The enemy will try to sway you and make you think that I do not hear your cry for help but, I say that I do hear you and I will rescue you My child. For you are My chosen one and I will not leave you Fatherless.
I am your heavenly Father. I am faithful. I am your deliverer. I am your rescuer and I will rescue you; make no mistake about it.”
May we forever turn a deaf ear to the voice of the enemy. It is his goal to make us turn our back on our great God, and turn our allegiance towards him. May we always be aware of his devices by following the voice of the Lord. May we forever hold on to our confidence in God. The Lord is our rescuer.

There are so many great things that I love about the Lord. I am absolutely positive that I cannot name them all! One of the Psalms that I love is Psalm 34:8 which says, “O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.” I can truly say that I have tasted and seen His goodness. I have seen it when my heart was crushed by the circumstances of life. How great is our God? No matter how chaotic things appeared God was always there, always. You see, His love would always overshadow the circumstance and I would find peace in His embrace.
Whenever the circumstances tried to compete with which was greater, the issue or God, the Lord always proved to be greater. He would always make His love and peace very real to me. He would let me know that there was no match that was greater than Him. He is the ruler over all things and everything has to bow to the name of Jesus sooner or later but, the fact is clear, it will bow!
Let me just talk for a minute about the support system that we all have as believers. Ok, we have the Father, Son, the Holy Spirit, and the heavenly angels all backing us up to do what the Lord wants us to do. How awesome is that! God’s word is full of scriptures that encourage us that we can run this race and win!
If no one else is cheering us on guess what? God is!! He’s our biggest cheerleader. He always wants us to win. In fact His word says that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Phil 4:13) and that He always causes us to triumph in Christ (2Cor 2:14).
There is no self help group, psychologist, psychiatrist, life coach, pill, vacation, or any other person that has that kind of power. I’m not speaking against any of those things. However, I am emphatically saying that our God is greater!!
I would not trade Him for anything in the world because He has been so good to me. He loves me unconditionally. I’m so grateful for that because there are plenty of times that I fall short of doing things right but, God does not say to me “you messed up; I’ll talk to you when you get it together.” He is so not like that.
That’s why I can agree with Chris Tomlin, the co-writer of the anointed worship song, “How Great Is Our God.” It’s also why I can agree with what David said in the book of Psalms, “O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”
