Giving Thanks!

Giving Thanks!

Can you believe that November is here already? For some reason it seems like the months just flew by this year. Very soon we will be introduced to the year 2014!!! Praise the Lord!! That’s a good place to shout!

I am reminded of the scripture that says, Therefore I say unto you, What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them (Mk 11:24). The power of having faith in our unfailing God will produce the proof that we are longing to see. If we embrace and believe that God has already answered what we have asked for even if it has yet to manifest in the earth realm then praise should automatically come from our spirit giving thanks unto God for the answer.

We have to make sure that what we are praying for lines up with the will of God. We should find out if what we want lines up with what God wants for us. Does our request line up with the word of God? These answers are gained through a relationship with the Lord in talking with Him, and studying His word.

I was having a conversation with a dear friend last week. Her excitement was absolutely infectious as she talked with great enthusiasm about the desires that she knew her Heavenly Father would fulfill for her. She expressed so much honesty and gratitude because she knew that God has always been faithful and that she could stand on His word. Her faith fueled her expectancy, and produced a great fragrance of gratitude. She also did what she was supposed to do by putting action with her faith. She wasn’t just idly sitting by waiting on the blessings to come forth but, she also pursued goals that lined up with what she trusted God for. I believe God is pleased with that kind of faith when we trust Him enough to thank Him in advance.

Let’s endeavor to do as my friend does and thank God as if the tangible blessings have already been released into our hands. May the Lord Abundantly bless you!

Reflections

1.  How do you express your gratitude to the Lord?

2.  Complete the following sentence:

3.  No matter what’s going on in my life I can always thank God for  _____________________________

4.  When you pray do you believe that you have received by faith the answer that you desire to see?

5.  Think of something that you have prayed for in which you are waiting on the manifested answer; now begin to praise God for the answer as if you already have it.

Word From The Lord For Pastors

Word From The Lord For Pastors

“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” ~ Isa 30:21 NIV

This is a simple reminder of what I originally called you to do. Go forth, be strong, and diligently seek Me for I will be your personal rock that will never break. I promise that I will hold your hand and have your back all at the same time. I will never send you anywhere without My Spirit going with you. I reiterate, I will never send you anywhere without My Spirit going with you.

Please receive that deep within your spirit and let it consume your thoughts.
You’re on My team and I know that You can succeed because I called you before
the foundations of the world to be one of my awesome leaders in the earth. So
you see, you can fulfill this challenging call because you were built for this. I
know, I am the Master Creator and I created you.

Yes My dear child, I know that things get heavy at times but, may I remind you
that you can always come to Me at the initial onset of a problem. Don’t try to fix
it on your own. You need My counsel and direction. Do this and You will see that
I am your burden bearer and that I am very capable of making crooked places
straight and turning desert places into an oasis. So walk with full assurance
knowing that I am the One who called you, and that I have chosen vessels that
eagerly await My words of life flowing from you.

When you hear that still small voice, and feel that gentle nudge to continue on in
Your calling, know that it is My Spirit encouraging you to press in and follow Me.

“This is the way; walk ye in it.”
