“To the praise of the glory of his grace, in which he has made us
accepted in the beloved” (Ephesians 1:6).
ACCEPTANCE- favorable reception; approval; favor.
Isn’t it wonderful to know that we are accepted by God? God promises acceptance and undeniable proof of that acceptance was shown to us in the most ultimate way when Jesus Christ died upon the cross for all humankind. The Bible says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Because of God’s great love for us He gave His son for the entire world so that we all would have the right to receive eternal life.
It is vitally important for you to be aware that the Lord loves and accepts you as you are. He is not a god of rejection. Our “God is Love” (1John 4:16). Aren’t you glad that He didn’t say we had to meet certain criteria before He sent Jesus to die on the cross for us? He didn’t say unless you meet a certain socioeconomic status, come from the right genetic background, are of a certain ethnicity, have the proper social graces, and physical characteristics you do not qualify for salvation. His love and acceptance covers all.
The word of God declares that “… he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves” Colossians 1:13.
Oh what a powerful and reassuring fact this is for those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. The selfless act of Jesus giving His blood for the entire world brought an instant exchange of destiny to anyone submitting their lives to Him. Where the course of our lives was once that of eternal damnation we now are afforded the opportunity to receive eternal life. Glory to God forever!
Always remember that you cannot do anything to fix yourself up in order to make God love you anymore than He already does. We all have room for improvement and our Heavenly Father is totally capable of helping us change. Therefore no matter what our condition the Lord will never modify His love for us.
Reflections
1. Have you ever experienced rejection in your life?
2. The darkest experience with rejection cannot compare to the magnitude of God’s love for you. What does His love and acceptance of you mean to you?
3. Think about some examples of how the Lord has made His love known to you.
4. Develop a prayer thanking the Lord for His love and acceptance of you.

ENCOURAGEMENT – to inspire with courage, spirit, or hope; giving hope or promise.
What can encourage us like a gentle whisper or a confirming embrace from our God? Who can inspire us to keep moving forward like the Spirit of the Lord?
We are privileged in the fact that we can talk to the Lord at any given time. We don’t have to have an appointment, nor do we have to wait to be next in line to talk to Him. I find encouragement in that alone. We also have access to His written word, the most powerful book that will ever be written. The Bible provides so many passages on encouragement; we just have to read, believe, and apply those words to our lives.
Then there is praise and worship. The awesome thing about praise and worship is that God unselfishly allows us to share in the experience. Although we are expressing our love and gratitude to Him, He in turn shares His expressions of gratefulness and love for us and there is a wonderful spiritual exchange. You may have been feeling a little down in your spirit when you initially began praising Him but, before it was all over you discovered that your countenance had changed, and you were able to lift your head once again.
God always wants the absolute best for His children. Take confidence in knowing that God is not only with you but, He is also for you.
Reflections
1. What does God’s word encourage you to do?
2. If you are going through something right now and feeling somewhat discouraged, meditate on the following promise taken from Isaiah 40:29
“He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increases strength”
3. What is the Lord saying to you through Isaiah 40:29?
4. If you find yourself lacking strength or feeling weak remind the Lord of His word and ask Him to fill you with His power and to increase your strength. Always remember to be totally honest with Him about your feelings. God honors truth and He will answer you!

June is a month that has been designated to celebrate that special day called
Father’s Day!
Biological fathers, adoptive fathers, grandfathers, spiritual fathers, godfathers, and guardians are all given honorable mention on this day.
There are also men who have never parented children but, are just as significant as those who have. One thing that all men of God have in common is that they are sons of the Most High God and His love for them is absolute.

MIGHTY MAN OF VALOR, MAN OF WAR, APPLE OF GOD’S EYE, MAN SERVANT, FRIEND OF GOD, JUST A FEW NAMES THAT GOD HAS USED TO DESCRIBE SOME OF THE MEN IN THE BIBLE.
WHAT DOES HE CALL YOU?
God gave you say your name, dominion over everything on earth.
Please don’t take this lightly, for the understanding comes when you realize that the only Wise and True God, The One who ordains power and creates where nothing ever existed,
Gave His Sons Dominion, Legal Authority to rule and reign, to stand up and be the leaders that God has called them to be. To be leaders in their homes, communities, establishments, corporations, etc., to show the world what Jesus Christ looks like through them, so I hear the word of the Lord saying,
STAND MY SONS STAND
No demon has the right to take ownership of what rightfully belongs to you. Reassess your life and grab hold of whatever is missing that I gave you
then
WALK MY SONS WALK
As the Kings and Rulers that I have made you to be
MY STRENGTH IS UPON YOU
MY LOVE IS WITHIN YOU MY SPIRIT WILL LEAD YOU
