Hallelujah The Breaker Has Come!!! When you have suffered for a long time and there seems to be no way out of your situation, and there is no change in sight it can be a very lonely and dismal place. Whatever the situation may be it just seems that you can’t talk about it enough, you can’t keep silent enough, you can’t seem to speak enough words of faith it just seems as though you are trapped within the four walls of your personal nightmare but…at the appointed time God steps in and begins to destroy the walls that have literally covered your peace with pain. He knocks down the walls of intimidation that attempted to make you doubt the very existence of God.
But our God is God and He knows how to make an open shame out of the enemy (see Col 2:15) just like he did Goliath, the giant who laughed at David a child of God and tried to intimidate him with his stature, and his threats. God had the last laugh and showed the giant and everyone else around that Goliath was no match for Him.
Know this, God will not be mocked. He will not allow your circumstances to keep shouting at you and telling you that you can’t win, and that your faith and belief in God is a waste of time. He will turn that thing around and show you and everyone around you that you are a champion, and more than a conqueror because you have the greater One living on the inside of you.
He is the God of the breakthrough and it will be completely evident that the God who breaks down walls, struggles, disappointments, and pain in your life is the Breaker. He will put you in a place of freedom, joy, and peace then you too will be able to exclaim, “Hallelujah, the Breaker Has Come!!!”
Reflections
- Name some situations in your life where you need the Lord to show up as the “Breaker” and destroy some things.
- Meditate on some times where God gave you breakthroughs. How did His faithfulness enhance your relationship with Him?
- Make this one of your prayers: Lord I thank You for being the Breaker in my life! Thank You for coming forth to destroy the things in my life that do not need to be there. In Jesus’ name, Amen
In His Grace,
