Special Prayer For Those Grieving
Dear Lord,
Thank You for always being there for me. Thank You for knowing the secrets of my heart. When everyone around me is celebrating, You understand and feel the pain that is speaking so loudly in my heart.
I realize that life goes on, but mine seems to always take an extended pause when I think about my loved one who has left this earth. Please heal my broken heart. Please remind my heart that it will get better and heal if I stay close to You.
Help me to make the right choices and run to You when I’m feeling sad, lonely, confused, or even angry. Help me to remember that You will always be there for me.
Your love, understanding, and compassion will never turn me away. Thank You so much Lord for being the safest place for me. I can always run to You for shelter.
I ask that You bring people in my life who are supportive and encouraging. Please weed out those who are judgmental and lack empathy.
Father I believe Your word. I know that You will never leave me nor forsake me. I thank You for being my comfort and my peace. Thank You for being my strong tower. Thank You for interpreting all my tears. Thank You for always covering me with Your magnificent unfailing love.

Minister Kimberly Smith is a woman who is dedicated to God and has been serving the Lord for more than 30 years. She is a woman who radiates the love and compassion of Christ and emanates God’s great hope for people. The Lord uses her mightily in areas of intercession, teaching, counseling, and encouragement. She is a graduate of Kent State University with a M.Ed. in Rehabilitation Counseling, and of Wilberforce University with a BA in Rehabilitation Counseling.
