A Spiritual Shift

A Spiritual Shift

The Lord revealed to me that there has been a spiritual shift in the spirit realm that will manifest in the lives of believers. The word shift means to move or cause to move from one place, status, or position to another. What better person to cause such a move than God. After all, He knows what’s best for us and He holds our destiny in His hands.

It’s important to realize that obedience is key during this time of shifting. There will be times when the enemy may try or even your old nature may try to convince you to turn around and re-enter into the old place that you were so familiar with called the comfort zone. The goal here is to quickly rebuke the devil and any negative mindsets that would try to sway you from moving forward. Keep in mind that an awesome shift has taken place in your life and to see it in its fullness you must stay connected to God, follow His leading, and show your gratitude along the way.

Some Other Things to Remember:

Always get confirmation through God that a prophetic word is true then receive the word of the Lord by faith.

Ask the Lord to make you totally aware of the shift.

Embrace the shift and flow with God

God is always with you even in this new season

Realize that you serve an amazing Father and He wants to cause you to experience amazing things.

Reflections

1. Have you begun to notice a change in your life for the better?

2. If so, what specific changes have you noticed?

3. If not, ask God to open your eyes so that you will be able to recognize the shift then follow Him as He leads you to experience new things?

It is our goal to bring you anointed words and services that inspire, encourage, and foster a closer relationship with the Lord. We thank God for you and want you to know that you’re always welcome at The Angelic Pen, “Where the words of heaven flow from God’s Heart to your spirit.”

Marching Forth

Marching Forth

Marching forth is more than just a play on words, but rather something that God is calling His children to do. It’s time to really get serious and execute His will in the earth. There are multitudes of people who are already divinely connected to God and flowing in His purpose for their lives. If you are one of them I commend you. There’s nothing like being free to do what God has created you to do.

However, if you find yourself holding back and refusing to move forward in what you know God has called you to do then I encourage you to examine yourself and find out what’s holding you back. Is it fear of the unknown, fear of success, intimidation, lack of resources, lack of confidence, etc.? Ask the Holy Spirit to help you with this and He will not only reveal the answers to you but, help you totally eliminate those issues from your life.

Don’t allow anyone, not even yourself, to tell you that you’re not good enough, strong enough, or bold enough to go forth in the things of God. The Lord will be right by your side. His infallible word promises in Isaiah 41:10, Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

So whatever that urgency is or even that gentle nudge that you feel you’re destined to do, acknowledge the reality that God placed it there and march forth in that direction. Just know that the Lord is beckoning you to come and shine for Him brighter than ever before.

Reflections

1. Are you feeling drawn to start doing something positive but, it’s out of your comfort zone?

2. If so, what truth do you know about God that will help you move forward?

3. What is the first action you will make in moving towards the new place in God?

It is our goal to bring you anointed words and services that inspire, encourage, and foster a closer relationship with the Lord. We thank God for you and want you to know that you’re always welcome at The Angelic Pen, “Where the words of heaven flow from God’s Heart to your spirit.”

God Provides Strength In Weakness

God Provides Strength In Weakness

Have you ever experienced weakness in your life?  Weakness can come in many forms.  It can show up as sickness in the body, or when you feel you can’t control your emotions after a bad breakup.  You can even suffer from spiritual weakness when you’ve gone through a hard battle and need to be replenished in your faith, prayer life, and knowledge.  But, there is good news.  God provides strength in weakness.

There is hope and assurance in God’s word that weakness need not be a permanent place.  A perfect illustration of this is found in Proverbs 18:10, “The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is safe.”  Just think about some of the weakest times in your life.  You may have experienced great trials causing you to feel as if the wind has gotten knocked out of you.  And you didn’t feel strength to carry on until God touched you with immeasurable love and compassion.

There is great comfort in knowing that there’s a place made for the children of God to go and obtain everything they need.  It’s a place where you can go and lay all your burdens down.  The Lord says that you are safe in this place.  The bible refers to the name of the Lord being a strong tower.  Can you picture an enormous, unbreakable tower filled with God’s love, strength, peace, and perfect answers, with Him beckoning you to enter?  There’s no wonder why the scripture says, “the righteous run into it and they are safe.”  Who wouldn’t want to go to a place like that?

If you are experiencing weakness in any area I encourage you to apply Proverbs 18:10 to your life.  Some of the ways to get to that safe place in God is through prayer, fasting, singing, crying out to Him, journaling your thoughts to Him, and asking others to intercede for you.  He is the exact place of refuge for a weary heart.  God bless you.

Reflections

1. What does it personally mean to you to be safe in the presence of the Lord?

2. How do you deal with times of weakness?

3. What is the greatest thing you’ve learned after going through a trial and coming out victoriously?

It is our goal to bring you anointed words and services that inspire, encourage, and foster a closer relationship with the Lord. We thank God for you and want you to know that you’re always welcome at The Angelic Pen, “Where the words of heaven flow from God’s Heart to your spirit.”
