The Valuable Voice

The Valuable Voice

The Lord has made each of us different and unique.  He has a specific destiny planned for us.  He has placed various anointings, gifts, talents, skills, and abilities within us.  When you add that to our life experiences; the joys, sorrows, testimonies, our personality, and character then it becomes clearer that God has surely placed great treasure inside of us.  He has given us a valuable voice that can be shared with others to help them along their way.

Life has a way of teaching us important lessons.  If we are attentive and obedient to what we are to learn then we are sure to walk away with a wealth of God’s wisdom.  It is almost certain that we will experience those things again or perhaps even come in contact with others who are trying to figure out some of the same things that we’ve gone through.

If you find yourself in the presence of someone who may be struggling with something that you have conquered and you feel that your words can help them be sure to ask God for direction in how and when to share with them. Always come from a place of love and never judgement.   Refuse to let the enemy tell you that you have nothing to say.  Remember that your words have value, use them wisely.

Reflections

1. What do you think is most valuable about what you have to say?

2. Has God given you a special message to give to others? If so, what is it?

3. What’s the #1 thing that tries to hinder you from sharing what God has placed inside of you?

It is our goal to bring you anointed words and services that inspire, encourage, and foster a closer relationship with the Lord. We thank God for you and want you to know that you’re always welcome at The Angelic Pen, “Where the words of heaven flow from God’s Heart to your spirit.”

In Awe Of God’s Amazing Grace

In Awe Of God’s Amazing Grace

Sometimes I sit in awe of God’s amazing grace.  His great compassion, concern, and love is overwhelming at times.

I must admit, there have been situations that I’ve had to face that were dark and stressful.  Logically there were no existing solutions but, God always knew the right time to bring forth the best answer pertaining to my situation.

To be perfectly honest with you there were times during my waiting process that I waivered in my faith.  I wondered when God was going to answer me or even if He was going to answer.  Sometimes He just remained silent.  I had to realize that He was still concerned and that He was definitely carrying me even though it didn’t feel like it.  His grace was seen even during that time.  When my mind and emotions weren’t lined up in faith His love remained the same.

His amazing grace and love never left my side.  My Heavenly Father never gave up on me, never turned His back on me, and never stopped watching over me. I am so grateful for His unconditional love.

As I reflect on the goodness of God I feel such a closeness to Him, and His love engulfs me like a big warm blanket on a cold and snowy day. I am so grateful for the beautiful relationship that I have with Him; the lover of my soul, healer of all wounds, my redeemer, and so much more. I pray that this blog post encourages you to take some special time and do your own reflecting on the goodness of God.

The Magnificent Power of Prayer

The Magnificent Power of Prayer

When we truly understand the magnificent power of prayer it becomes our number one tool.  We reach for it when the stress of life creeps into our daily activities. The challenges and the distractions of living life on purpose for Jesus can become overwhelming for many of us. Powerful communication with the Lord and consistent interaction keeps us charged up and reminds us who has our back during times of stress.

There’s nothing more soothing, reassuring, and comforting as the magnificent power of prayer. We have the ability to spend quiet time with our Heavenly Father. Being alone in His presence is absolutely priceless! The mere fact that He wants to spend time with us is enough to make us aware of how blessed we truly are.

This is the holy and special place. This is where everything can be shared from your innermost thoughts, burdens, and hurts to joyfulness, thanksgiving, and everything in between.

The Lord loves for us to spend time with Him and quite frankly the feeling should be mutual. We should love spending time with our Heavenly Father. After all He is our creator. He knows us better than we know ourselves. He loves us more than we can ever imagine. He always wants what’s best for us. He delights in blessing His children. He’s never too tired to listen to us neither does He lack solutions for any problems we face.

This is a reminder to go to God in prayer. He is the source, power and relief for whatever is needed in your life.

Reflections

1. What do you like the most about prayer?

2. What is one of your most memorable testimonies?

3. Write a paragraph telling God how important He is to you.
